Emergency Medicine Eligibility Requirements
Canadian and American allopathic and osteopathic students and physicians
are encouraged to apply for emergency medicine residency through the Electronic
Residency Application Service (ERAS).
Applicants must successfully complete either the USMLE step 1 or the COMLEX
level 1 prior to being considered for an interview. Successful completion
of either both the USMLE Step 2CK and Step 2 CS or both the COMLEX level
2 CE and 2PE is required prior to being considered for NRMP ranking or
offering an out of match position.
International medical graduates (IMG) may be considered if the applicant
