MountainView Hospital Opens Internal Medicine Practice

Las Vegas, NV April 21, 2016 — MountainView Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of its newest medical practice, MountainView Internal Medicine Associates.

MountainView Internal Medicine Associates recently opened in the MountainView Medical Office Building, 3150 N. Tenaya Way, Ste. 271, which is adjacent to MountainView Hospital. The practice is focused on providing exceptional care in an academic environment.

Internal Medicine is the diagnosis, management and nonsurgical treatment and care for adults and the elderly. MountainView’s Internal Medicine clinic physicians provide long-term, comprehensive health and preventative care and chronic care management strategies for its patients.

Among the services offered at MountainView Internal Medicine Associates are:

Dr. Ali Rahimi, FACP, AGSF, Internal Medicine Program Director for MountainView Hospital’s Graduate Medical Education program, offers comprehensive prevention strategies and treatment for a wide-variety of conditions including chronic condition and disease management, disease prevention, health screenings and acute illness.

Dr. Rahimi received his medical degree and completed his internship at Ferdowssi University School of Medicine and Health Science Center in Iran. Upon graduation from medical school, he completed his residency training in Internal Medicine and a cardiology fellowship at ST. Thomas’ Hospital and Medical School in London, England.

Dr. Rahimi continued his medical education domestically by completing residency training in Internal Medicine at St. Raphael Hospital, Yale University and a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at Duke University. Dr. Rahimi is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine.
